The ART Treatment Plan Notes will show throughout the system as a reminder for each patient. There are often a number of small details that you will want to remember for a particular patient's care. Artisan offers the ART Treatment Plan Notes field as a convenient place to store these reminders as you are creating Treatment Calendars or viewing pregnancy notes.
The initial opportunity to create the ART Treatment Plan is within the H&P. To later add or update, select the section on the Progress Notes/Labs page of the chart.
ART Treatment Plan Notes in the H&P
If ART Plan Notes are enabled in the patient H&P, this field can be filled out. The information input here will reflect on the ART Plan Notes in the chart.
ART Treatment Plan Notes
The ART Treatment Plan Notes are located on the Progress Notes/Labs page in the patient chart.
Click in the ART Treatment Plan Notes box or click on the Pencil icon to create or edit your Notes. You can also dictate or use stock text in this field. Any information added to this field will also reflect in the ART Plan Notes in the H&P.
ART Treatment Plan Notes in the Advanced Progress Notes
There are 2 different ways to add ART Treatment Plan Notes to the Advanced Progress Notes:
- Read Only- This will pull in the current ART treatment plan notes as a read only field that cannot be edited. This allows for reference of the patient's last treatment plan notes that were recorded.
- Edit- This will pull in the current ART Treatment Plan Notes and will allow editing. Any changes made here will reflect in all areas of the chart that shows the ART Treatment Plan Notes.
Other Areas the ART Treatment Plan Notes are Located
The ART Plan Notes will appear in the ART cycle at the top of the ART Setup Tool.
The ART Treatment Plan Notes will also appear at the top of the Lab Referral.
