Choose a Leader or Team to For Your EMR Setup

It is essential that you have one person or a team dedicated to the set up of the EMR and lead the training and implementation process.

This person and/or team which usually consists of an Office Administrator or a Physician  and other leadership should begin by reviewing the manuals and performing the initial clinic setup.

Once the team has set up the system and is comfortable with the basics, they will serve as a teacher and guide to the rest of the staff.

This individual or group will interface with the Artisan team to establish all training sessions, integrations and implementations.

In our experience having a good team leader(s) is the single best way to ensure a successful installation of the EMR.   This person or team will be the cheerleader(s) for the install and will be essential in the change management expectations for the entire practice.
